Tietze’s AC & Heating Maintenance Includes:
Tietze’s thorough examination of the exterior and interior of AC and heating units with a full inspection including cleaning and testing. We’ll even perform your air conditioning repairs if need be! Here’s what you can expect from one of our AC tune-ups: 

  • One visit a year

  • Check blower wheel balance and motion

  • Tighten blower mounts and set screws 

  • Check that wire connections are tight and insulation is intact

  • Check blower and motor amperage

  • Visually inspect inside air handler

  • Confirm operational output temperature for split indoor coil

  • Inspect drain and coil, making sure they’re not damaged 

  • Visually inspect interior coil condenser (if easily accessible)

  • Confirm electrical wiring, connectors, and insulation are all intact

  • Inspect for leaks and connections

  • Check refrigerant levels are within specifications

HVAC Inspection and Tune-Up

  • Clean and adjust burners

  • Inspect heat exchanger

  • Calibrate your thermostat(s)

  • Examine air filter and replace it if you have another one on hand

  • Inspect and tighten wiring connections

  • Visually inspect the ductwork for proper airflow

  • Inspect for proper operation of igniter or pilot light

  • Inspect blower compartment

  • Inspect flame operation for safety and burn performance

  • Duct & equipment connection inspection
